Who We Are
Nicole Ortega, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist | Certified Advanced Rolfer®
-
Nicole Ortega is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Advanced Rolfer®, and Panchakarma Therapist.
Nicole uses keen observation, listening, and palpation skills to serve the needs of the whole body’s connective tissue in a holistic approach. She evaluates and evokes the body’s intrinsic organizing capability to support conductivity of the vital force. Working this way helps free range of motion, increases longevity potential, and supports the client in reaching new levels of mental clarity, strength, personal growth, and self-understanding. It is possible to discover a greater connection with the natural and spiritual worlds when the body-mind comes into balance and alignment. Nicole really wants to see her clients thrive and live in their fullest potential. Her love of wisdom, nature, learning, community, and healing have culminated in many tools in Nicole’s “toolbox” which she continually refines for healing purposes.
Trauma Informed Care
Nicole is a survivor of trauma and has 15+ years of experience giving bodywork to survivors of trauma. Trauma includes political, emotional, or sexual violence and health crises like cancer or chronic disease. Even the shock of being born in this world is a trauma that massage and bodywork can help you heal from.
Nicole has worked with the bodies of business owners, athletes, artists, dancers, performers, parents and caregivers, health professionals, non-humans (especially dogs), babies and children, teens, elders, and individuals with a spectrum of special needs.
Whatever stage of life, lifestyle, background, or worldview you may be navigating through, Nicole creates a tolerant and peaceful environment for your body to repair in safety. She authentically embodies non-judgmental compassion and care. You are invited to simply be and breathe as your authentic self fully, and receive touch that nourishes your human body, mind, and spirit.

Nicole has learned from herbalists, shamans, Rolfers, massage therapists, and traditional healers in Hawaii.
She learned advanced massage therapy techniques in Kilauea at the Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork, under the tutelage of Lee Joseph, Carole Madsen, and Dr. Mark Olsen.
In 2012, Nicole was invited to receive the ten-series of Rolfing as a class model under the supervision of Emmet Hutchins at The Guild for Structural Integration. The transformation in Nicole’s body and awareness through the work showed her the potential of Rolfing—not only in aligning and mobilizing the physical body, but supporting and serving positive mental, emotional, and spiritual growth.
In 2013, Nicole was formally trained in the Rolf method of Structural Integration. Her teacher, Emmett Hutchins, was one of the original handful of students that Dr. Ida Rolf trained and designated as a teacher of her unique method of bodywork. Emmett embodied and intensively contemplated the work of human evolution and structural integration that Dr. Rolf initiated in him, and he was profoundly dedicated to teaching the next generation of practitioners until the end of his life in 2016.
In 2014, Emmett sensed he was near the end of his lifetime and personally encouraged Nicole to one day pursue advanced Rolfing training with Jan Sultan. Jan, likewise, was one of the few teachers personally selected and trained by Dr. Ida Rolf. In 2023, Nicole pursued continuing education workshops at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute and completed her Advanced Rolfing Certification with Jan Sultan and Tessie Brungardt in 2025.
In 2016, Nicole trained in Ayurvedic external therapies with Dr. Marc Halpern at the California College of Ayurveda.

Neeshee Pandit, Menpa
Doctor, Astrologer, Psychoanalyst
-
Neeshee Pandit is a Doctor of Ayurveda and Tibetan medicine (menpa), astrologer, psychoanalyst, teacher, and writer. He co-founded the Somaraja Clinic and established Somaraja Press. As a practitioner, Neeshee investigates the theoretical and clinical intersections between Eastern medicine and Western psychoanalysis. He distinguishes these two modes of work as “applied psychoanalysis” (medicine, astrology) vs “pure psychoanalysis” (analysis itself).
Neeshee specializes in moxibustion therapy, Lacanian analysis, Vedic astrology, and Human Design. In addition to his work at the Somaraja clinic, Neeshee teaches at the Middle Way Acupuncture Institute and publishes essays for Somaraja Press. Neeshee lives in Boulder with his wife, Nicole, and their two pugs, Norbu and Nori.
-
Neeshee comes from a family lineage of scholars, physicians, and astrologers. His grandfather, Dr. Y.I. Dixit (1932 - 2018) was a Professor of History who had a great interest in medicine, culture, and philosophy. He exposed Neeshee to Ayurvedic texts and remedies at a young age and supported his interest in medicine, astrology, and spirituality. Dr. Dixit was a renowned palm reader, and his father was a Vedic astrologer.
From 2008 - 2023, Neeshee lived in the ashrams of his Guru, Adi Da Samraj, where he was intensively engaged in spiritual disciplines and trained in temple arts. In this context, Neeshee served in priestly, managerial, and educational capacities. From 2009 - 2024, Neeshee served as an editor for the Dawn Horse Press, where he worked closely with Adi Da’s texts.
In 2015, Neeshee graduated from the California College of Ayurveda. He continued his studies under the mentorship of Vaidya R.K. Mishra (1952 - 2017), who initiated him into his family lineage of Shaka Vansya Ayurveda. Concurrently, Neeshee studied Vedic Astrology and Homeopathy with Ernst Wilhelm.
In 2016, Neeshee’s interest in Tibetan culture led him to begin a traditional four-year education in Tibetan Medicine under the tutelage of Menpa Phuntsog Wangmo and in the lineage of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche and Khenpo Troru Tsenam Rinpoche.
After graduating from Tibetan medical school in 2020, Neeshee pursued his childhood interest in Chinese Medicine by training in J.R. Worsley’s lineage of Five-Element Acupuncture at the Worsley Institute. Neeshee subsequently completed a Master’s diploma in Acupuncture at the Middle Way Acupuncture Institute in 2024. His master’s thesis, “Spirits of the Unconscious: Possession and Resurrection in Acupuncture Therapeutics”, interprets the Chinese medical notion of “possession” through a Freudian and Jungian lens and examines its treatment with five-element acupuncture.
In the realm of psychoanalysis, Neeshee has undergone a Jungian Analysis and is currently apprenticing in Lacanian Analysis with Dr. Scott Von at the Analytica Institute.
